About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Technician to join our team at Sierra Lane Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Site Supervision and Management
    • Oversee construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
    • Monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Technical Expertise
    • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
    • Develop and maintain engineering specifications, drawings, and estimates
    • Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements
  • Education
    • Degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or architecture
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction project coordination or site supervision
  • Skills
    • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
