About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Saskatoon Cancer Centre in Radiation Therapy. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for preparing, planning and delivering accurate and precise ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients according to the prescription of a Radiation Oncologist.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Radiation Therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also be required to possess proficiency with various computer systems and software applications, as well as moderate judgment and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate and precise ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients
  • Prepare and plan treatment plans in accordance with Radiation Oncologist prescriptions
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve patient care goals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments

What We're Looking For
  • A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Radiation Therapy
  • Certification in Basic Life Saver (BLS)-C
  • Licensure with Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT)
  • Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software applications
