At Fat Kee BBQ and Meat, we are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. As a key member of our meat processing department, you will be responsible for preparing meats for sale by cleaning, cutting, and packaging them to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meat cutting and processing, with experience working in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work under pressure, standing for extended periods and using manual cutting utensils and slicing machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
  • Cut carcasses, sides and quarters
  • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Remove bones from meat
  • Weigh meats for sale
  • Cut poultry into parts
  • Sell meats to customers
  • Grind meats
  • Prepare special orders
  • Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in meat cutting and processing
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to stand for extended periods
  • Client-focused and team-oriented approach
