Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Plant Machine Operator to join our team at KAVIN GROUP. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining chemical formulation units, ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control chemical formulation units to ensure optimal production levels and product quality.
  • Clean and maintain workspaces, equipment, and instruments to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Measure, weigh, and load chemical ingredients according to formulation cards and production schedules.
  • Record production information, including product yields, quality control data, and equipment performance metrics.
  • Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Take samples and perform routine chemical and physical tests to ensure product quality and compliance with safety procedures.
  • Operate equipment from control rooms or control consoles, adjusting processing machines and equipment as needed to maintain optimal production levels.
  • Monitor reaction processes and transfers of products in conformance with safety procedures and quality control standards.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a chemical processing plant or related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks and attention to detail.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking required.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a noisy, odorous, and dusty environment.
  • Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

This is a temporary position with a variable schedule, including shift and on-call work. The successful candidate must be available to work in proximity to the advertised location and be willing to relocate if necessary.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work

30 to 44 hours per week.
