Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Plant Machine Operator to join our team at KAVIN GROUP. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our chemical processing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Control Equipment: Operate and monitor instruments on one or more chemical formulation units, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Clean and maintain the work space, including equipment and surrounding areas, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Chemical Handling: Measure, weigh, and load chemical ingredients following formulation cards, and record production information accurately.
  • Equipment Operation: Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot equipment as needed, and take samples for quality control purposes.
  • Quality Control: Perform routine chemical and physical tests of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: The work site environment is noisy, with odours and dust present.
  • Work Setting: The work setting is a chemical processing plant.
  • Physical Demands: The job requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with repetitive tasks and physically demanding work.
  • Weight Handling: The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is required.
