Key Responsibilities:- Test, inspect, and verify fire alarm systems and devices to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Install, service, and inspect fire alarm and security systems, including monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems, and security systems.
- Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
- Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details, such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.
- Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
- Follow local and national security standards.
- Valid full CFAA License required.
- Ability and desire to learn all facets of the CFAA Technician role in fire alarm and security.
- Prior experience with monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems, and security systems preferred.
- Siemens and/or Mircom ESD experience preferred.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Customer-oriented mentality.
- Ability to work within the territory and surrounding areas.
