Job Title: Claims Adjuster - Transportation Equipment & Cargo Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to join our team in handling Transportation Equipment & Cargo claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in claims handling, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Transportation Equipment & Cargo claims from inception to closure
- Conduct thorough investigations and assessments to determine claim validity and liability
- Communicate with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues
- Develop and implement effective claims handling strategies to minimize losses and maximize recoveries
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in claims handling
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in claims handling, preferably in the transportation equipment and cargo industry
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
