We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at First Sight Coffee & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and serving of food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock and inventory.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we meet the needs of our customers.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates, managing resources effectively to achieve business objectives.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • First Aid Certificate, Food Safety Certificate, and Safe Food Handling certificate.
