As a key member of our team at Waste Connections of Canada Inc., you will play a vital role in upholding our commitment to exceptional customer service. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, residents, and prospective clients, handling all inquiries and issues related to service, billing, or new service.

Responsibilities will include closing new customer sales, resolving customer complaints, handling service changes, and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will also collaborate with other teams, such as Sales, Accounting, and Operations, to determine service requirements, resolve problems, and find cost-effective solutions.

We are a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with a high volume of calls and emails consistently. However, with your excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to multitask, you will be well-equipped to handle these demands.

Key qualifications for this role include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2-3 years of customer service experience in a high call volume atmosphere, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and data-entry/typing. Additionally, you should possess excellent verbal communication skills, be able to multitask and prioritize workload, and have a strong work ethic.
