Experienced Aluminum Casting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Aluminum Casting Specialist to join our team at Standard Manufacturers Services Limited.
Job Description- This is a physically demanding role that requires working with heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and handling hot materials.
The successful candidate will be responsible for melting and pouring aluminum into molds, setting up and operating tilt pours, and monitoring foundry furnaces.
Responsibilities- Melt and pour aluminum into molds as per Standard Manufacturers Services Ltd's policies and procedures.
- Operate and monitor foundry furnaces used to melt aluminum.
- Flux and skim molten aluminum to ensure high-quality castings.
- Set up and operate tilt pours to cast aluminum parts.
- Follow casting work package procedures and complete work package documentation.
- Handle ladle molten aluminum into molds and remove aluminum castings from molds.
- Visually inspect castings for non-conformance and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Perform finishing operations through saw cutting and sanding procedures for gate removal.
- Work 4 days a week, 10 hours a day (Days or Afternoons).
- Repetitive tasks involved in this role.
- Handling heavy loads up to 50 pounds.
- Physically demanding role requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- High School diploma preferred but not required.
- Good understanding of English language both verbal and written.
- Ability to work as part of a team and self-starter mindset.
