We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team at the University of British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing excellent support to our research team.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate clinical research studies, including participant recruitment, data collection, and study close-out
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines
- Provide excellent support to research team members, including training and education on research protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with research team members to develop and implement research studies
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of research activities, including participant data and study progress
- Registered Nurse with British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) registration
- Minimum two years of experience in a clinical position, with a focus on research or coordination
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of research principles and practices, including GCP and IRB guidelines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
