About the Role

As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects. Your primary responsibilities will include loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, operating mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring, and barricades.

You will also be responsible for instructing apprentices, mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, operating cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas, assisting in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, framing houses, erecting walls, building roofs, leveling earth to fine grade specifications, paving and raking asphalt, demolishing buildings, cleaning and piling salvaged materials, performing routine maintenance work, and removing rubble and other debris at construction sites.

In addition to these tasks, you will also tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and assist in various other aspects of construction site operations.

Requirements
  • We are looking for individuals who possess strong teamwork skills, accuracy, dependability, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
