Job Summary:
Royal Bank of Canada is seeking an Automation Process Developer to drive business transformation and enhance HR efficiency. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. Your expertise will play a vital role in streamlining processes, improving productivity, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role:
This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work with a collaborative team, leveraging your skills in RPA development to create innovative automation processes. You will collaborate closely with Operations, Technology, and Business teams to capture requirements, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop robust RPA processes using Blue Prism, ensuring high-quality automation solutions that meet business needs.
  • Accountable for designing and implementing new or significant changes/enhancements to existing RPA processes, aligning with business objectives.
  • Support process streamlining initiatives, promoting best practices across the RPA team and driving continuous improvement.
  • Conduct solution design walkthroughs and code reviews, ensuring adherence to industry standards and quality expectations.
  • Own specific changes to enhance RPA or lead assigned projects, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Work collaboratively with development and QA teams to review requirements, implement solutions, and ensure seamless integration.
  • Coordinate quality assurance, end-user acceptance testing, and post-implementation verification to guarantee high-quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate production support to ensure bots run as expected, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Blue Prism, SQL, and Python programming languages.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Blue Prism.
  • 1 year of experience with API integration using Blue Prism.
  • Good knowledge of SQL server concepts and principles.
  • An undergraduate degree and excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
