Job Description: Cybersecurity Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of typical email security DNS records (DMARC, SPF, DKIM) and basic underlying protocols providing email services in applications. They will also possess expertise in reviewing and identifying web and email security controls, as well as a solid foundational understanding of DNS records/types and how they are used and defined.

The ideal candidate will have excellent detail and communication skills to coordinate broadly with multiple teams on various projects. Experience with Jira/Confluence is a plus. They must be able to explain technical issues to non-technical teams and have a thorough understanding of networking/firewalling concepts and network security deployment strategies.

Responsibilities:
  1. Strong understanding of typical email security DNS records (DMARC, SPF, DKIM) and basic underlying protocols providing email services in applications.
  2. Expertise in reviewing and identifying web and email security controls.
  3. Solid foundational understanding of DNS records/types and how they are used and defined.
  4. Understanding of domain name registrations and ability to trace ownership.
  5. Understanding of endpoint security controls.
  6. Excellent detail and communication skills to coordinate broadly with multiple teams on various projects.
  7. Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical teams.
  8. Thorough understanding of networking/firewalling concepts and network security deployment strategies.
Salary Estimate

The estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
