Job Summary

Canada Wise Driving School Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatching: Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Logistics Management: Maintain accurate records of vehicle operator work hours, mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
  • Communication: Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews.
  • Problem-Solving: Respond to urgent calls from individuals who require assistance and follow up on issues with work orders.
  • Team Collaboration: Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to meet operational needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, highway trucking rules and regulations, and dispatch management service software.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
