Truck Driver

At CANADA WISE DRIVING SCHOOL INC., we are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials across various routes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure the safe operation of the truck, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Transport Goods: Load and unload cargo, and transport goods to various destinations, adhering to time schedules and traffic regulations.
- Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain Records: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Class 1/1F/A Licence: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence for semi-trailer trucks.
- Experience: Will train, but prior experience in truck driving is an asset.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
As a Truck Driver with CANADA WISE DRIVING SCHOOL INC., you will work in a fast-paced environment, with regular travel and varying weather conditions. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
