Freight Forwarding Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join our team at BBE Expediting Ltd. As a key member of our logistics operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring timely delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Freight Operations: Plan and organize the movement of goods, including scheduling shipments, tracking inventory, and communicating with carriers and clients.
- Manage Logistics Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our logistics team, including coordinating with warehouse staff, drivers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor Inventory and Shipping: Track inventory levels, monitor shipping schedules, and ensure that goods are delivered on time and in good condition.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond to client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Certifications: Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) Certificate or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Office and dispatch management software.
