We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Boas Construction Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Supervise other workers
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
- Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
- Ability to work at various locations
The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including residential and industrial settings. The work environment will be noisy and dusty at times.
What We Offer- Permanent employment
