Financial Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Officer to join our team at Toronto Maple Star Academy Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to ensure the organization's financial stability and growth.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, including preparation and submission of tax returns.
  • Financial Systems and Processes: Develop and implement efficient financial systems and processes to improve financial management and control.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in financial management or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
Work Environment:

The Financial Officer will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.

Language:

The language of work is English.Hours of Work:

30 hours per week.
