Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and budgets for IT initiatives
  • Direct the activities of the IT division and provide vision and direction to LDB executive and senior management staff
  • Establish the IT organizational structure and prepare the organization for business continuity/disaster recovery
  • Procure software and hardware, manage vendors, and enforce architectural and security standards
  • Participate in strategic planning processes and develop policies and programs to respond to changes in IT business environments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or business management
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive management experience in an IT environment
  • Strategic planning, budget, performance management, change leadership, and succession planning experience
  • Effective consulting and guiding executives to implement corporate initiatives
  • Experience working in a senior capacity in a government organization or crown corporation
