Richmond Consulting Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced cabinetmaker to join our team in a challenging role that requires expertise in woodworking, creativity, and attention to detail.

About the Role

We are looking for a professional with 1-2 years of experience in operating woodworking machines, preparing plans and specifications, and assembling and finishing wood products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety protocols, quality control, and efficient work methods.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating custom furniture and cabinetry for clients, working on various projects simultaneously, and maintaining a high level of quality and productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Operate various woodworking machines, including power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
  • Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units, reinforcing joints as necessary.
  • Sand wooden surfaces, apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare laminated plastics.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in cabinetmaking or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality and productivity.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
