We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Stratford, ON.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday with a competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications. An additional $0.25 per hour is paid for each ASE certification possessed or obtained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety
  • Assist with preventive maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual MTO maintenance inspections
  • Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
  • Ensure work orders are completed accurately
  • Participate in mobile emergency services
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license required; must hold an S and/or T license
  • Possess a mechanics tool set
  • Willingness to participate in the ASE certification program, with training, testing, and bonuses provided

Estimated Salary Range:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
