Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist I to join our team at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre. As a Radiation Therapist I, you will be responsible for preparing, planning, and delivering accurate and precise ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients according to the prescription of a Radiation Oncologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and plan ionizing radiation treatments for cancer patients
  • Deliver precise and accurate radiation treatments according to the prescription of a Radiation Oncologist
  • Work closely with Radiation Oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Radiation Therapy
  • Certification for Basic Life Saver (BLS)-C
  • Licensed with Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT)
  • Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
Working Conditions

This is a full-time regular position with a 3-week rotation. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to work effectively in a team setting.
