Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our customers.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in the design and development of customer projects, including new applications, feature enhancements, and problem correction.
  • Defining the architecture of solutions to meet customer objectives and requirements.
  • Developing technical and functional specifications.
  • Evaluating development efforts for new solutions or improvements.
  • Deploying developed solutions into production and managing change.
  • Supporting pre-sales efforts, including effort evaluations and technology analysis.
  • Ensuring high development standards by following the software development cycle.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of development activities.
  • Providing support to colleagues and mentoring junior team members.
  • Staying up-to-date with new solutions and technologies on the market.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of object-oriented development in Java, with experience in the Spring framework.
  • Strong relational database skills, including the use of ORMs and DAOs.
  • Good knowledge of basic DevOps concepts, including Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with other programming languages, such as C#, PHP, Node.JS, and Python.
  • Ability to work in an Agile and collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
  • Good communication skills in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a love of teamwork.
