Food and Beverage Services Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Services Specialist to join our team at Bluebell Eatery. As a key member of our service staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional dining experiences.
Job OverviewThis is a permanent position with an estimated 30-40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and must be physically fit to handle the demands of this role.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve specialty food at customer tables, taking pride in delivering excellent presentation and service standards.
- Present bills to customers and process payments efficiently, handling cash, credit, debit, travellers cheques or room billings.
- Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials, to inform and engage customers.
- Offer expert advice on menu selections, enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.
- Clean and maintain the dining area, including tables, trays and chairs, to ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
- Serve food and beverages with precision and attention to detail, meeting the high standards expected by our customers.
- Take accurate orders and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and concerns.
- A strong ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- An efficient interpersonal skillset, enabling effective communication with colleagues and customers alike.
- Excellent oral communication skills, allowing you to describe menu items confidently and clearly.
- Organizational skills, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- A teamwork-oriented mindset, supporting colleagues to deliver outstanding results.
- A willingness to learn and train, embracing ongoing development opportunities.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
