About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Atlas Polar Company Limited. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and solutions that meet our company's needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in mechanical systems and processes.
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including power plants, machines, and equipment, to meet our company's requirements.
  • Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Plan and manage projects, including preparing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or processing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and fluids, system integration, and mobile equipment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, and project management software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
