Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at CareGivers. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies, and prepare nutritious meals for clients.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with special needs is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in employer's/client's home.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending.
  • Repetitive tasks.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication.

Work Schedule:

3 to 80 hours bi-weekly, with flexibility to accommodate client needs.
