Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing Porter Airlines' pricing strategy to maximize revenue generation. Key duties include:

  • Implementing and optimizing fare strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborating with the Inventory Management team to develop and execute market strategies
  • Managing the process of implementing public and private fare filings in ATPCO
  • Providing detailed analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking performance against goals
  • Maintaining pricing and revenue management system parameters to ensure optimal results
  • Monitoring competitor fare initiatives and day-to-day pricing adjustments to ensure competitiveness

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring data and revenue integrity in all day-to-day processes, databases, and dashboards
  • Participating in Porter's Safety Management System (SMS) and reporting hazards and incidents
  • Supporting commercial and operational initiatives to successful completion

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous airline pricing and revenue management experience
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of industry revenue management systems
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel focus)

Education

A university degree in Economics, Marketing, Finance, Network Planning, Strategic Planning, Operational Research, Mathematics, or Engineering is required. An MBA or M.Sc. is an asset.
