Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drapery Sewer to join our team at DAISY DRAPERIES. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing minor repairs and adjustments to equipment, operating sewing machines or sewing by hand, and using sewing guides and tension devices.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on sewing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate sewing machines with precision and accuracy, producing high-quality textiles.
  • Use sewing guides and tension devices to achieve consistent and professional results.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new sewing techniques and processes.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in sewing or textile maintenance an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Physical capabilities to perform repetitive tasks.
