Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Prime Line Logistics Inc. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Logistics
    • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods over long distances
    • Ensure timely delivery of cargo to meet customer requirements
    • Manage route planning and navigation to optimize delivery times
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and efficiency
    • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as tire checks and brake adjustments
    • Address any mechanical issues that may arise during transit
  • Cargo Handling
    • Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
    • Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected during transit
    • Handle hazardous materials in accordance with regulations
  • Communication and Documentation
    • Communicate with dispatch and other stakeholders to coordinate delivery schedules
    • Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, and fuel consumption
    • Comply with all relevant regulations and company policies
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • AZ class license
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent navigation and route planning skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires regular sitting, standing, and lifting. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and may be subject to overtime.
