Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Primeline Logistics Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mountain Driving Expertise: Navigate through challenging mountainous terrain with ease and precision.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods at designated locations, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Obtain Special Permits: Obtain necessary permits and documents to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle's condition, ensuring it is in good working order.
  • Emergency Roadside Repairs: Perform emergency repairs to ensure timely delivery and minimize downtime.
  • Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with regulations.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Cargo Handling: Handle and secure cargo to prevent damage and ensure safe transportation.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with central dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • AZ Class License: Possess a valid AZ class license and meet all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Communication Systems Experience: Familiarity with GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation and have a valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular overtime required.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with a strong focus on teamwork and reliability.
Experience:

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and timely delivery.

Language: English

Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week
