About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Watershed HR Solutions Inc. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Policy Development

Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support business objectives.

Employee Relations

Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Talent Acquisition

Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce.

HR Operations

Manage contracts, oversee payroll administration, and provide customer service to ensure seamless HR operations.

Performance Management

Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs, conduct performance reviews, and propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures.

Reporting and Analysis

Oversee the analysis of employee data and information, prepare reports, and provide insights to inform business decisions.

Requirements
  • Education

College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.

Experience

1-2 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a consulting firm or business services environment.

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong attention to detail.

Computer Skills

Proficient in human resources software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
