Job Title: Bar Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team at Anejo Restaurant. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for leading our bar team and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Lead and motivate our bar team to deliver exceptional service and achieve sales targets.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our bar is well-stocked and efficient.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that our bar team follows health and safety regulations and maintains a clean and safe working environment.
  • Marketing: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our bar and increase sales.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Operations: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily bar operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bar management role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

Our bar is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You must be physically demanding and able to stand for extended periods.

  • Reliability: You must be reliable and able to meet deadlines.
  • Team Player: You must be a team player and able to work effectively with our bar team.
  • Ability to Multitask: You must be able to multitask and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
