Job Title: Lead Fashion Creative

We are seeking an experienced and skilled fashion creative to lead our design team at Alter Tailor Shop.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, teaching interest or professional development courses, designing settings, scenic environments, costumes, and lighting. They will also plan and develop permanent and temporary exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of designers, apprentices, and stagehands to ensure seamless execution of projects
  • Develop and teach professional development courses to enhance the skills of our team members
  • Create stunning designs for various applications, including theatrical productions, exhibitions, and retail spaces
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality results that exceed their expectations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in fashion design and production
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience in designing for different mediums, including theatre, exhibitions, and retail spaces
