Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at 1040023 ALBERTA LTD. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from the trailer, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of cargo.
  • Obtain Special Permits: Obtain necessary permits and documents to transport cargo on international routes, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Operate and maintain tractor-trailer combinations, performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
  • Record and Track Data: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining a driver logbook.
  • Ensure Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping and handling practices.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Language: English
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week
