At Generations Cleaning, headquartered in Durham Region, Ontario, we specialize in delivering comprehensive commercial and industrial cleaning services across the province. Our diverse clientele comprises commercial spaces, retail outlets, offices, condominiums, and warehouses.

We are currently seeking a part-time Commercial Cleaning Specialist to join our team at a distribution center in Whitby. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, maintain a friendly demeanor, and demonstrate a strong work ethic along with relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning Common Areas: Ensure all common areas within the premises are consistently neat and hygienic through thorough cleaning and maintenance.
  • Cleaning Offices: Clean and sanitize office spaces, including wiping down surfaces, disinfecting counters and tables, and dusting furniture.
  • Cleaning Breakrooms/Lunchrooms: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in breakrooms and lunchrooms by wiping down tables and chairs, sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Cleaning Bathrooms: Wipe and sanitize all sinks, toilets, hand dryers, and counters, as well as sweep and mop floors and restock supplies.
  • Floor Cleaning: Utilize ride-along and push-behind floor machines to clean floors throughout the building.

Requirements:

  • Legally Entitled to Work in Canada: The successful candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Minimum of 3 Years of Cleaning Experience: A minimum of 3 years of cleaning experience is required.
  • Ability to Work Independently: The ability to work independently is essential for this role.
  • Dedication to Assigned Tasks: The successful candidate must demonstrate dedication to assigned tasks.
  • Previous Floor Scrubber Experience: Previous experience with floor scrubbers is highly desirable.
