About the Opportunity

The Registered Pharmacy Technician participates in the provision of patient-centered care, working collaboratively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to prepare, package, and dispense medications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and dispensing medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist
  • Compounding sterile and non-sterile dosage forms
  • Participating in quality programs and patient safety initiatives
  • Working with automation and inventory control systems
About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy practice assistant. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program
  • Licensure and registration in Nova Scotia as a Pharmacy Technician (NSCP) required
  • Experience with unit dose drug distribution systems and automation technology an asset
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and record keeping essential
Salary and Benefits

This is a temporary full-time position with a salary range of $24.96-$27.89 per hour. Successful candidates may be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
