As a Senior HPC Engineer, you'll be part of our High Performance Computing section, responsible for implementing, operating, and evolving computing and data IT infrastructure solutions to support our Research and Development organizations.

The Opportunity:
  • Design, implement, and maintain large-scale IT infrastructure products and services, optimizing reliability, availability, capacity, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable developers to easily build, test, and deploy their applications.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure services meet agreed service level indicators (SLIs), objectives (SLOs), and agreements (SLAs) in compliance with QA requirements.
  • Contribute to identifying critical metrics used to establish service level indicators (SLIs), objectives (SLOs), and agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor and maintain services once they are live, measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Manage ITSM processes and track resolution for reporting and resolving incidents, problems, changes, requests, and releases.
  • Act as an analyst, transforming complex customer and developer needs into specific technical requirements.
Requirements:
  • 6-9 years of experience in multinational work environments as a senior systems or software engineer with a minimum Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred.
  • Background in Linux/Unix Server technologies, including RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Satellite/Foreman.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix High-Performance Computing (HPC) Clusters configurations and workload managers, such as IBM LSF and SLURM.
  • Wide experience applying infrastructure automation tools, infrastructure as code, scripting languages, logging, monitoring, and observability, infrastructure configuration, and applications.
  • Coding and scripting experience in PHP, Python, YAML, shell, Perl, and/or Ruby, as well as distributed version control and source code management tools, such as GIT, Bitbucket, GitHub, and GitLab.
  • Monitoring and observability experience, including LogicMonitor, Nagios, Ganglia, and ELK.
  • Experience working according to DevOps principles, processes, and tools, as well as experience applying design thinking, lean, prioritization, and agile methodologies to evolve services offered to partners.
