As a Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist with Alberta Health Services, you will play a vital role in delivering effective rehabilitation services to individuals across various age groups and healthcare settings. Your contributions will be instrumental in enhancing the overall quality of life for our patients and their families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with interprofessional teams under the supervision of audiologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, recreation therapists, or speech-language pathologists to provide comprehensive care
  • Providing direct and indirect client care across the health continuum, from healthy living to end-of-life care, as well as non-client service provision
  • Engaging with internal and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of rehabilitation services

To excel in this role, you will require strong interpersonal and clinical skills, as well as evidence of reflective thinking and lifelong learning. Additionally, you will have opportunities to contribute to quality improvement initiatives, program planning, and student supervision.

The successful candidate will hold a diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required. In some cases, equivalent training may be considered.

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. This figure reflects the estimated compensation for this position in the region, considering the standard cost of living and industry standards.
