Job Summary
The Tech IV - HVAC/Refrigeration- Roving role is responsible for operating facility systems, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and routine services on facility mechanical and other systems. The incumbent must hold a valid Certificate of Qualification issued by the province in which the work is performed.
Key Responsibilities
- Installs, overhauls, and services air conditioning, heating, and related equipment and components.
- Repairs, replaces, and adjusts worn or broken parts HVAC equipment.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with heating and air conditioning units and systems.
- Performs work in accordance with established processes and practices.
- Complies with all internal and external requirements, including environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- College Diploma/Certification required
- Experience required as a licensed HVAC/Refrigeration Technician
- Strong ability to adhere to and execute processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance
- Ability to maintain building mechanical and other system troubleshooting and resolution skills
