Job Description

We are seeking a transformational leader as the Chief of the Odette Cancer Program and Regional Vice President. This position plays a crucial role in coordinating cancer care across Ontario, acting jointly accountable to the President & CEO of Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario) and the President & CEO of Sunnybrook.

The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills, vision to advance integration with our strategic priorities, and commitment to forging partnerships with other institutions, community agencies, and our North Toronto OHT to support integrated delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Odette Cancer Program and act as Regional Vice President
  • Cordinate cancer care across Ontario
  • Forging partnerships with other institutions, community agencies, and our North Toronto OHT
  • Develop and implement strategies to advance integration with our strategic priorities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • MD degree and certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Qualified to hold a clinical full-time academic appointment at the University of Toronto at the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor in an appropriate clinical department
  • Transformational leadership capabilities, commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and ability to nurture culturally-sensitive care
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and research experience
