Laundry Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Laundry Supervisor to join our team at SEA TO SKY LINENS LTD. As a Laundry Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our laundry facility, ensuring the highest quality of service and efficiency in our processes.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for regular maintenance and repair work to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.
- Client Support: Assist clients and guests with special needs, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Emergency Response: Be the point of contact for emergency situations, responding promptly and effectively to resolve issues.
- Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units and departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper operation of computer equipment and machinery, performing routine checks and maintenance as needed.
- Quality Control: Monitor quality and production levels, implementing measures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Cleaning and Laundry: Oversee the cleaning of specialty and difficult items, ensuring they are handled and processed with care.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit progress reports, providing regular updates on our operations and performance.
- Supply Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring we have the necessary resources to operate efficiently.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers, ensuring they have the necessary support and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff and workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Laundry Operations: Wash or dry-clean industrial or household articles, ensuring they are processed with care and attention to detail.
- Work Schedules: Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring they are fair, efficient, and effective.
Work Environment: This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
