Laundry Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Laundry Supervisor to join our team at SEA TO SKY LINENS LTD. As a Laundry Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our laundry facility, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Client Support: Assist clients/guests with special needs, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Emergency Response: Be the point of contact for emergency situations, responding promptly and effectively to resolve issues.
- Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Quality Control: Monitor quality and production levels, implementing measures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Cleaning and Laundry: Oversee the cleaning of specialty and difficult items, ensuring they are handled and processed correctly.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit progress and other reports, providing regular updates to management.
- Supply Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and availability.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule activities of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Training: Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Laundry Operations: Wash or dry-clean industrial or household articles, ensuring they are processed correctly and efficiently.
- Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
