Farm Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Manager to join our team at Dunphy's Poultry Farm Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operation of our farm, including managing feed inventory, monitoring animal health, and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the farm, including animal care and feeding
  • Monitor and maintain farm equipment and machinery
  • Manage feed inventory and supplies
  • Monitor animal health and implement disease control measures
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads
