We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Project Engineer to lead the design and execution of cutting-edge projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine appropriate designs.

You will prepare and oversee the preparation of process design deliverables, including process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, detailed piping drawings, and orifice calculations. Additionally, you will evaluate vendor submittals for the selection of instrumentation and equipment, and review and check the work of other process engineers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procedures.

As a successful candidate, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program, and at least eight to twelve years of related experience and/or training. Experience in Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear projects is a plus, but not required. You must be capable of and willing to obtain a Q clearance, and hold a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, or be expected to attain PE at the earliest opportunity.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
