Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee client communication and implementation of new regulatory requirements/disclosures that impact the financial statements.
  • Lead the implementation of all standard practices, processes, tools, and initiatives, including technology enhancements and system conversions.
  • Manage a team to ensure proper oversight of joint-venture operations and manage key relationships with client companies, regulatory bodies, and vendors.
  • Execute the overall business plan in assigned areas, manage conversions of new business plans, and review client-specific agreements and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with operational teams globally to ensure consistent service delivery of client solutions and high client satisfaction.
  • Assess operational effectiveness and implement plans to streamline functions and optimize technology usage.
  • Manage team performance, provide coaching and development opportunities, and make effective staffing recommendations.
  • Proactively manage operational risk at the business level and act in accordance with Rick Excellence and model ethical behavior and decision making.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to a B.S. degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field. A CPA or MBA is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of related management experience, preferably in a public accounting audit firm or a financial services organization.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and NI requirements and laws as they apply to investment companies.
