Guest Services Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Services Agent to join our team at TownePlace Suites Mississauga-Airport Corporate Centre. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience during their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm and friendly service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handling room assignments, key cards, and other related tasks.
- Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Respond to guest inquiries, provide information on hotel services and amenities, and make recommendations to enhance their stay.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in hotel software systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
