Quality Assurance Supervisor in Food Production

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team at FV FOODS. As a key member of our food production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that offers an estimated salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role and possess excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Training staff and workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies;
- Recommending personnel actions such as hiring and promotions;
- Preparing production and other reports;
- Recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality;
- Supervising, coordinating, and scheduling activities of workers;
- Establishing methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units;
- Requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A permanent employment contract;
- An education level of College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Efficient interpersonal skills;
- Flexibility and reliability;
- Judgement and organizational skills;
- The ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads;
- A strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices;
