Elim Village, a leading provider of seniors living services in British Columbia, is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. Our retirement villages in Surrey and Chilliwack offer a unique opportunity for professionals to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated LPN to deliver high-quality patient care and safety to all residents. This role requires providing ongoing clinical best practices, assessments, and interventions while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an approved Practical Nursing program
  • Current full scope registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (BCCNM)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Experience in long-term care setting preferred

Key Qualifications

  • Genuine empathy for older persons and ability to relate meaningfully with them
  • Demonstrated clinical competencies and leadership skills
  • Portray a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming
  • Evidence of good physical and emotional health and ability to handle job demands
  • Able to work harmoniously as part of a team

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work 8-hour shifts, including night shifts. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.
