Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
- Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize bakery operations
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff
- Create new recipes and menus
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
- Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions
- Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience
As a member of our team, you will work in a fast-paced bakery environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. You will be required to work 30 to 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime during peak periods.
